1) Entry fee of $10 per photo must accompany each entry. Make checks or money orders in US funds payable to Chow Life. Paypal payments should be directed to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

2) Contest is open to anyone except the Editor and her family.

3) Only previously unpublished photos may be entered.

4) Enter as many photos as you like.

5) Photo must feature at least one Chow and may be color or black & white. No show win photos will be accepted.

6) All photos become the property of Chow Life and will not be returned. Photos will not be sold or used for any other purpose than to promote and illustrate the magazine.

7) Photographers should retain a copy of their entries. The CCCI and Chow Life will not be held responsible for any entry under any circumstances.

8) Entries must be unmatted prints (minimum size 4x6", maximum 8x10") or digital files of reproducible quality. Entries of insufficient quality to print in the magazine will be rejected.

9) Prizes will be awarded to the photographer, not to the person who submits the photo.

10) Entries must be indentified with the name & contact information of the photographer: prints via a label on the back, digital files by an accompanying email. Entries may be sent by US Mail, email, or ftp upload. Contact the Editor for ftp instructions.

11) Winners will be determined by Nite Lite Design based on appeal, originality, composition, quality of the photo, and relationship to the contest theme (when there is one). All decisions are final.

12) Winners will be published in the Summer 2010 issue of Chow Life. No other notification will be forthcoming.

13) All entries must be received by the Editor by April 15, 2010.

First Prize: color upgrade on full page advertisement ($220 value) or free one year subscription to Chow Life

Second Prize: (2 offered) $50 discount on full page advertisement or free half year subscription to Chow Life

Third Prize: (2 offered) $25 discount on full page advertisement or free issue of Chow Life
